L’intera Cabina di Volo è gestita da 3 Personal Computers così chiamati:
PC-1 SERVER
PC-2 CAPITANO
PC-3 PRIMO UFFICIALE
Tutti i Computers sono connessi insieme tramite una Rete LAN e controllati per mezzo di:
– Un “D-LINK 4 port KVM Switch” (utilizzato per selezionare tastiera, video e mouse).
La selezione può essere gestita per mezzo dell’hardware (premendo il bottone sull’unità o tramite software utilizzando una combinazione di tasti)
– Un “D-LINK” 8 port 10/100 Mbps Switch” (usato per connettere tutti i PC insieme via LAN)

Tutti i computers sono stati posizionati sotto una scrivania ed equipaggiati con tutte le altre periferiche .
Da questa posizione sarà possibile gestire l’intera “Cabina di Volo” accendendo i computers, caricando gli scenari, preparare i piani di volo ecc.
Questa area è chiamata “737 Manager & Instructor Station”.
Un quarto Computer al momento attuale non è previsto … se sorgeranno problemi di gestione dell’hardware un nuovo PC potrà essere installato …
