The complete Flight Deck is managed by 3 PCs named as follow:

PC-1 SERVER

PC-2 CAPTAIN

PC-3 FIRST OFFICER

All computers are connected together via LAN and controlled by:

–          A “D-LINK 4 port KVM Switch” (used do switch keyboard, video and mouse).

The Switching can be managed by hardware (pushing bottom on the unit or by software using a keys combination)


–          A “D-LINK” 8 port 10/100 Mbps Switch” (used to connect the PC via LAN)

All the computer have be placed below the desk equipped with all other hardware peripherals .

From this station will be possible to manage the entire Flight Deck, switching between all computers, loading the scenario, to prepare the flight plan etc.

This area is called “737 Manager & Instructor Station”.


A fourth Computer at the actual status is not foreseen … if problems will occur a new PC will be installed …
